Discopolis

Our concept consists of one-night "happenings" that encompass a group-based action uniting various forms of arts; live acts/performances, DJ’s, visual art, and culinary art. We are looking for something "old school", in the vein of an 1980s New York art happening, presenting multiple experiences in one venue.

For our next event we would like to produce a disco party (inspired in large part by the legendary Loft parties from the mid-1970s) and to use Friends bar, due to its central location, gay (and straight) friendly atmosphere, and decor (which seems to be tailor-made for this concept).

We are also very proud to present the Prague debut of DJ Colby b from Seattle (USA)  who is one of the hottest DJs on the electro-club scene. This will be a night of music not-to-be-missed!!

Support will be from Elektromotive (CZ/USA).

Expect to hear a range of styles, including electro, italo, synth-pop, new wave, cosmic, and post-punk amongst others...
